You can turn off the three-dimensional effect if you want to see how the colors are being painted. To do this, click the impasto icon, which is the little blue star-shaped icon three spots below the tracing paper icon. 17 shows the location of this feature indicated by the red arrow and with the effect turned off so you can see how the painting looks with only twodimensional brush strokes. If you click this icon to activate it but are not using an Impasto brush, you will not see any change in the image.
